Scotland

Scotland is the most mountainous region of Great Britain. Much of the beauty of the countryside is derived from the mountains, lakes and coastlines that make up the Highlands. But there is much more to this nation, from the dramatic setting of its capital city to the stately castles that nestle into the landscape. A combination of all these features makes a glorious tour.

Scotland is of course renowned for its golf courses, the most famous of which are to be found in the Central Belt of the country. Here also are many of the finest sights the country has to offer, from castles and ruined churches to country houses and palaces. On our golf tour, you will be able to golf in three of the most important golf destinations in the world, and also take the opportunity to sample a selection of the attractions.

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL

The summer months of June, July and August are regarded as high season, with local school holidays making July and early August the busiest period. While the locals celebrate a single day of bright sunshine as ‘glorious’, the weather at this time is, at best, unpredictable.
